Classroom sneak peak

It's been a crazy summer prepping and planning and trying to fit everything else in between. I still feel like my to-do list is a mile long, but now that I look at these pics, it shows me I'm getting somewhere at least.
:)

My classroom is in a round building with the library in the middle, I feel like my room is the smallest slice of the pie-- but it's probably just in my head. All the classrooms feed into the library, it's pretty unique. In these pics, the library is filled to the brim with all the desks so you can't enjoy the unique structure.

I've had some lucky people come in and help including our good friend Tara and baby Anya!
Couldn't do this without all you amazing people.

Here's the front of my class... it's still a work in progress. I'm going to be sharing about Thailand during the first week (hence the huge flag) I may have to rearrange though, we'll see..

This was the surprise gift from the Corys! A sweet name plaque and business cards. Makes me feel legit! Which makes the reality of school coming oh so real. Goodness me.

But our last hurrah--before I bury myself in more curriculum--will be our upcoming trip to Tahoe! So excited to be with the big fambam...
Deep breath--- bring it friday.

  1. Congratulations Naomi on your first teaching job! After teaching many different grades Tom says fourth is his favorite. We know you'll be an excellent teacher and that you'll love 4th grade!
