So there a few things I missed out on, growing up in Thailand and one of them was the concept of celebrating attire from different american eras... just not something a bunch of predominantly Asian students did, or else maybe I was hanging out with the wrong group of people. Always, since I've been in the states, I've been slowly learning what attire goes with what era and for what reasons.
We recently celebrated the 80's..
