Goodbye sweet sun.

Walking from the gym to the car tonight at 11pm was enough of a wake up call for me. Frigid. Slap in the face. nip in the butt. The woolly socks are coming out -- and the boots and the warm tea and scarves and the sad plea for the sun to please come back.

This reality also means that when the sun does peak out of the clouds to mock and bid a long farewell.. we head to park to play summer..

 Ominous Tree.
I chose a small tree to climb, with a nice welcoming branch, nice and horizontal. I only got maybe 6 ft high and that was that. Ryan, on the other hand, decided to take on Mother Tree. What a man, what a man. The outdoors must have run into his adrenaline.

Now I have rights to say: Happy Thanksgiving!!
I'm so excited to head down to the Bay for a mondo thanksgiving with all my family! I can almost smell the stuffing and taste the gravy. I'm so thankful for how faithful God's been to Ry and I in this season.
Love you.

  1. ohhh, how I love the colors of the trees right now, bundling up like a snowman to get to school I could live without, what I do to stay warm, I believe you manage it in more of a stylish manner
