Last week we headed to the snow-tipped beauty of Mt.Shasta to visit our dearest Megs and John. Caitlin joined for the trip, too, which almost made us a complete set!

An unfortunate reality is that as life takes us to different places, it becomes increasingly harder to gather some of your favorites together at the same time. Luckily Lyss will find her way up to Chico in a few weeks, so we'll get our share of Lysness.
This is the newest Brodbeck, he's an adorable addition with such a playful personality, made me almost think about the possibility of getting a pup.. but not quite yet.
Saturday we headed to Mt.Shasta to enjoy some snow sporting. The Fitzs went for the boards and the rest did skiis. Ry and I were pretty impressed with what we remembered from our once a year boarding in the past.
Our percentage of face plants has gone down which is always good news.
Check out this cute home the Brodbecks have created.. and when I say created, they seriously are so handy and have remodeled their home with class and style. They amaze me.
Such a breath of fresh air heading out of chico to enjoy some of the beauty that surrounds us. We are so lucky to live where we live and to have the friends we do. We truly thank God for this amazing season of life.
Ah! Miss you guys! Snow snow snow! Summer is next, wahoo! I like the fireplace, remember how that was in the making when we were up there a while back.
